Our branch covers the Illawarra Area North of the Windang Bridge through Wollongong and as far north as Helensburgh.
Since October 2002‚ when it was decided to proceed with setting up Fairy Meadows Community Bank‚ the Fairy Meadows community has rallied behind its community-owned enterprise. After months of hard work by the steering committee, Fairy Meadows Community Bank branch opened its doors on 5 November 2003. And since then the business has been steadily growing.
We also now have several key community partnerships, including Wollongong Hawks School Hoops Program, The Illawarra Aerial Patrol, Fairy Meadow Surf Life Saving Club and the Illawarra Disability Trust just to name a few. We look to strengthen our local community by forming strategic partnerships with community focused groups.
